I limiti dell'intervento umano nella medicina rigenerativa: riflessioni filosofiche.

The essay discusses some of the philosophical presuppositions of the immense problems posed by the growing possibilities of technoscience to intervene in man. The distinction between power and law, the opposition between nature and freedom, the revival of the question of order, the link between the whole and the parts. These are the points of support for rethinking the epistemic status of science and technoscience, as well as of legal science. The clarification of this status is a precondition for a balanced understanding of man's place in the world. It is also a condition for preventing technoscience from becoming the matrix of a form of neo-totalitarianism. Human beings would come out completely insignificant and eventually expelled from history.

Il saggio discute alcuni presupposti filosofici degli immensi problemi posti dalle crescenti possibilità di intervento della tecnoscienza sull'uomo. La distinzione tra potere e diritto, l'opposizione tra natura e libertà, la ripresa della questione dell'ordine e il legame tra il tutto e le parti sono punti di appoggio per avviare il ripensamento dello statuto epistemico della scienza e della tecnoscienza, oltre che della scienza giuridica. Il chiarimento di questo statuto è una precondizione per la comprensione equilibrata del posto dell'uomo nel mondo e una condizione per evitare che la tecno-scienza diventi la matrice di un neo-totalitarismo che rende l'essere umano completamente insignificante e alla fine lo espelle dalla sua stessa storia.
