Abstract
The present "General Commentary" addresses an article recently published in "Nature Methods", in which "cell autofluorescence" was reported to be a specific marker for "epithelial cancer stem cells" (CSCs). Despite the interest and the relevance of the aforementioned article, "lipofuscin and lipofuscin-like substances" (which are commonly detected in cells under a variety of conditions) were not included among the possible causes/explanations of epithelial CSC autofluorescence.File in questo prodotto:
