Abstract: After the Storm, Will it be Possible to Rebuild a Civilization of Law? On the Paradigms’s Edge. The essay analyses some of the causes of today's crisis of law, finding them in long-term deformations and contradictions. Phenomena such as individualism, nihilism, and the dissolution of thought in the nomen, lead to the replacement of law with power. A paradigm of the juridical crushed on the axis of power-control is outlined, in which law is enslaved to forms of neo-totalitarianism. It is necessary to look far to see what is near, to read the harmony and proportion in social and legal relations and to reopen reflection on the common good.
