Analyzing the concept of accountability implies analyzing the anthropologi-cal dynamics of power and the great issue of responsibility and, accordingly, delineating the field of action of the principle of accountability which cannot be required to defeat, alone, the opaque and elusive character of power. In order to conceptualize accountability, we must consider that this term is at the center of a powerful conceptual construct to be added to our understanding of politics and modern governance. Searching for a profound sense of the concept of accountability, we certainly can connect it with that of democracy. Understanding the dynamics of Global Governance Organization Accounta-bility is a central point to understand the accountability challenge for democ-racy.
