The study is aimed at drawing a profile of Italian studies on management dealing with business ethics in order to provide the fundamental coordinates for their setting in the context of international studies. After a brief examination of the theoretical background of Italian studies, their relationships with the traditional pillars of business ethics are described. Then, the main theoretical perspective for setting the ethical and social nature within the strategic project of businesses are investigated and classified.
