Abstract
This contribution intends to examine the evolution of the concept of critical infrastructure within the European legal framework. This analysis reflects the shift from a sector-specific to a cross-border perspective, in which the advent of the cyber domain and the impact of Covid-19 pandemic have elevated the importance of new sectors of critical infrastructures.
