The study, building on the reflections on trust and social capital by Bourdieu, Putnam, and Fukuyama, operationalizes these concepts within a survey conducted in Poland during the COVID period. Using the CAWI method, 1,486 adult Polish citizens were reached in December 2021 with a questionnaire addressing various aspects of social life and interpersonal relationships. The discussion thus examines, supported by data, the decline in social trust during the lockdown, the relationship between trust and social capital, and generational differences in trust levels.

Abstract
The study, building on the reflections on trust and social capital by Bourdieu, Putnam, and Fukuyama, operationalizes these concepts within a survey conducted in Poland during the COVID period. Using the CAWI method, 1,486 adult Polish citizens were reached in December 2021 with a questionnaire addressing various aspects of social life and interpersonal relationships. The discussion thus examines, supported by data, the decline in social trust during the lockdown, the relationship between trust and social capital, and generational differences in trust levels.File in questo prodotto:
