The archives of Abruzzo are still an important source of news and information for anyone interested in studying the brigandage of these territories and nearby provinces. Both in the unit period as in the previous one, less investigated. In addition, the use of non-traditional sources and a different reading of summarily investigated documents, can provide us new keys of interpretation and at the same time, address new historiographical requests.
