The study perform an analysis of sustainability and eco-efficiency of the Montepulciano d’Abruzzo producing companies belonging to the Colline Teramane wine district. The objectives of the study are: the analysis of the environmental impacts of the whole production process of the companies belonging to the Consortium “Colline Teramane”, applying the LCA methodology and comparing the two main products (DOC and DOCG wines) and the conventional and organic production methods; and the eco-efficiency analysis to make a comparison among companies and assumptions about good practices to be implemented.

Abstract

The study perform an analysis of sustainability and eco-efficiency of the Montepulciano d’Abruzzo producing companies belonging to the Colline Teramane wine district.
