The constitutional reform of 2001 allows regions to legislate on education and related organizational issues: enactment of legislation is the primary reference for the regions that will emerge in the education system of territorial government, with the possible models of participation and consultation; it follows that the dimension of autonomy will be significantly marked down by the regions in the exercise of their skills. In light of the above, one key action is necessary to create and/or consolidation of relations with the territory: the school, in fact, fulfill its social function at the local level, and only through an analysis of the context in which works, it may, by virtue of the autonomy, prospect answers congruent with educational needs, even for a desirable and fruitful collaboration with co-existing business sector. Networks of schools can become a suitable tool to pursue some of these objectives. The case of the "Network of the school system of the Sangro Aventino territorial pact" represents a significant case study which proceeds in the direction desired.[...]
