In the last decades, more and more agricultural farms, research organizations and institutions have shown a new interest in the cultivation of Cannabis sativa L. with low content of THC (industrial hemp), because of its innovative applications in different fields as foods, cosmetics and pharmaceuticals. The purpose of this work is to extract bioactive compounds from industrial hemp local crops, for their use in the food and pharmaceutical fields. For the extraction, different techniques will be taken into consideration: beside conventional methods as maceration, ultrasound and Soxhlet, will be exploited one of the most innovative strategies that is the RSLDE - Rapid Solid-Liquid Dynamic Extraction, performed by "Naviglio Extractor®". The different extracts will be evaluated for their antioxidant activity, volatile fraction composition and cannabinoids content.
